Hi all!
I know I have not been here much lately but it is because I have been so busy and I want to tell you my news!
I am thrilled to share with my friends here at CSN that all the hard work here on CSN of learning to tweak and rewrite and hone the gifts we are given by Our Lord God Father Son & Spirit has been a blessing.
I am thrilled to tell you that I have composed the theme song for the
2010 Combined Federal Campaign for the UNITED WAY of Tampa Bay.
It is called "Now More Than Ever".
The song has been professionally recorded and a video is being made with it. It will be used for fund-raising for federal employees in the Tampa Bay area as the campaign starts for the United Way. There is also a possibility that it will be used by other CFC agencies and used in additional areas outside of Tampa Bay Fl. I was involved with the taping of a few scenes of the video, where about 30 children aged about 5-15 went on a bus filming where they visited the BIG CAT RESCUE, a Bird Sanctuary and GULF Cleanup, and a Santa Toys for Tots. They were singing and dancing to my song and it was awesome!
The song is a secular song, but hopefully it will draw others to my website and they will hear about Jesus there.
The official CFC KICKOFF IS SEPT 16. And there is a Black Tie Dinner in October. LOL
I will post the link when it is officially released!!!!

Anyway, I want to encourage everyone, because - I know - sometimes we think, oh well, what am I doing? But the meeting I had with them was on JUNE 3, EXACTLY 3 YEARS to the day of when I first released my very amateur CD "Share These Songs" that I did in 6 hours with a baby casio keyboard. I did it as an act of obedience, never thinking I would be starting an adventure as a songwriter.
Other wonderful news:
I am now a mother in law, I received my second CCLI royalty check, and I have just started a creative service business called "http://www.make-a-song.com". I am actually making a living as a singer/songwriter. This has become a full time job/ministry.
Who would a thunk it? Praise be to Jesus!!!!!

You are a busy person and so productive because you have been
such a good servant of the Lords!
You have worked hard for Gods people and I am excited about
all your accomplishments in Jesus Name!
God is making me busier but not as busy as i hope to be in the future.
My grandchildren are my number one priority this year.
Alex will be in full time school next year.
God will lead me where He wants me to go.

Wow, that is super awesome Ang!! Congratulations!! You have inspired me to walk in obedience to what I feel God is calling me to do. Can't wait to hear it!!
