Is there anything more wonderful than God's grace??? I don't believe so. As I sit reflecting on what this Thanksgiving day means to me I marvel at how good God is

The last month has been, to say the least, difficult to understand and filled with opportunities to praise God for His wisdom and ability to bring me to my knees in awe. October 25th my 2 week old great granddaughter Dylan Mischell went home to be with the Father...SIDS. Two weeks later a 14 year old granddaughter overdosed twice in one weekend. My son and daughter-in-law's marriage is in crisis and may not make it through the holidays. What am I grateful for?

~ There is a loving God that cradles, forever, my great granddaughter and knowing one day we will be with her again.
~ A God that will give something back for what was lost...He always opens a window when one is shut.
~ A granddaughter, Emily, who is ALIVE and getting help. God is good!!!
~ An opportunity to be an example in my son's life (he is not a believer) of what it means to have a loving God who can heal anything!
~ That God is so merciful!!!!

This Thanksgiving is like every day that I am willing to give thanks for my life and all that is in it because of God's GRACE. I am praying that His love and Grace, His mercy and healing will be on all of my brothers and sisters who are in need this holiday season. And that means all of you!

Hi Helena Maria,

Thank you for your kind words. Deep faith does not always come easily to me. It is something I have to work at each day. But God is such an awesome, wonderful, merciful, gentle god and healer that even the beginnings of faith are honored by Him. I rely on His generosity in providing the grace I need each day to handle what comes at me THAT day. I try not to look for the grace I needed yesterday or will tomorrow because He only supplies it on a daily basis. He said not to worry about tomorrow because tomorrow will have its own troubles so concentrate on getting through today...that is the way I read it anyway. The Bible also states that faith the size of a mustard seed will move mountains. Have you ever seen how tiny a mustard seed is? It is pretty tiny.

Love Him and it will be returned to you many times over I hope we talk again soon!!!!
