Just ordinary; nothing to love or hate.
No roses, no romantic card.

Roses soon die, and "lovers"lie.
I guess I only miss..

Lord this would make me so happy.
I'm sure it would complete me.
I don't understand, I think I'm in love.
Please answer my prayer, give me this as a gift from above.
I cry myself to sleep in doubt.
God why did you bring this man about!

I'll grab some paper and a pen, and reflect my thoughts again.
Oh what to write, what I could make!
Of this apaer if only the time I woyuld take.
But I cannot reveiw my thoughts when I dont have any....

Take, take, take all you can and perhaps take some more.
Materialistic gain it’s what we are all living for.
Oh this is the good life.
The more you buy the less strife.
If only you had a financial breakthrough you would be content.
Christianity is only for the poor and the desperate, that’s why they repent.
I’ve got enough money for the necessities I want to buy.
Maybe next time I’m struggling I'll give God a try.

Spend, spend, spend with no apparent reason why.
Live for each new procession till the day I die.
Yeah I know there is a dying world out there.
But why should I do anything when Christians refuse to share.
Oh something’s got to be wrong about the way we live.
We have more than enough money yet we want more, rather than give.
I want to know there’s more than just to eat, sleep, and die.
Materialistic gain is not the reason why!

Lord I just want you.
I don’t want the church it just won’t do.
I don’t want tradition or something new.
Lord I just want you.

Christian culture, churchianity, religion, materialism DONT WANT IT!
