Thanks be to God for all things...for He is good, all the time.
We received bad news yesterday. A young man who was serving as a youth minister in a previous church of mine passed away at 1:30 am Sunday morning. He was battling lymphoma and was in the hospital, surrounded by his family and his fiancee. He was only 22 years old, and was such a wonderful, Godly person. He was also an extremely talented guitar player and singer/worship leader. He will be missed on Earth, but we all have the assurance that we will see him again.
This young man's father is the music minister at the same church. He is also a good friend, and preached my husband's funeral service for me just about two years ago (March 25 is his "angelversary"). I feel so helpless, knowing how much his support meant to me in my time of grief, and now I feel like I can't do much to help him. I know one thing...I can pray. He and his... [ Continued ]
