Vaseline Petroleum Jelly -- a Sermon about the Blood of Christ by dodie on January 1st, 2009, 10:52 pm

Vaseline Petroleum Jelly Walls Sermon © 2009 Deb Rempel Sunday School Songs – Asking Jesus into my Heart I asked Jesus into my heart in the summer of 1972. I had spent years of trying to figure out, trying to reason why so many people sing and praise and celebrate Jesus – yet He was as exciting to me as an old, yellow, cracked newspaper. When I was in Estes Park at YMCA of the Rockies, a co-worker asked me if I had ever accepted Christ as my Savior. I honestly said, “No,” thinking that this would be another failed attempt to apply dried-up old newspaper to the massive problems in my life. To my surprise she said, “You need to ask Jesus in your heart.” Remember the old Sunday School song we used to sing? Into my heart Into my heart Come into my heart, Lord Jesus! Come in today Come in to stay C... [ Continued ]

rambling about the awesomeness of this........... by angela dittmar on December 29th, 2008, 7:39 pm

for some reason i thought i was done. i can not tell you why. it's just that, it seemed this year i wrote down so many songs, that i kind of thought that was it. like done, fini, no more. and this year coming i would refine, tweak, and maybe make one decent casio free recording. ahh, my dream. and then the gift came. this is the only song i was ever to write. the song that if i never wrote another word, it was all for this, i am finished now, this is the pearl. but, i have thought that before...... why is it that the last song is the song that i think is the very best? does this happen to everyone? do we really get better at writing? or is it the newness of the song, the new words and melody that makes our heart soar? the fact that once again He has allowed me this privilege, to serve and sing glory to His name? so many others to sing, to write, and yet He picks me? wow. i am so not worthy to do this... Lord, do you know me? me? You do? and You let me? pen this? what am I supposed to... [ Continued ]

Update on New Album Project by rickey wright on December 27th, 2008, 1:03 pm

Hello Everyone, I spoke with the Director of Production for my record label (Tate Music Group) recently and we have set a date for Production, Mixing and Mastering of the New CD. After many weeks in which the album project seemed to be standing still, we are finally moving in a positive direction. In February we will begin work on the CD cover and Marketing for the release of the new Project. We will be doing vocal work for the two new songs that we are adding and mixing and mastering in early March. The release date is still to be determined, however, I would anticipate this to be in early May of 2009. I am excited about the future and the direction that we are now moving with this Project. I will be posting details in the future about pre-orders for the new CD at a discounted price. I am now beginning to accept bookings for 2009, if anyone is interested in having me at your church or any other event for a concert, please let me know. I will be happy to book your event and ask... Post Christmas blessings by broken_harrison on December 26th, 2008, 1:28 pm

Not much on style, not much on hype. Just wanted to wish everyone a Merry CHRISTmas.
We have my wife's middle daughter with us at this time and her two children (2 and newborn) and it has been quite a blessing.
Our Christmas drama was beautiful (blacklights, white gloves, fluorescent sticks, lighting, and the message of Third Day's "King of Glory" as the culmination). My wife is the director of our local drama team (D.ramatically R.eaching O.ur C.ommunity (D-ROC)).
This season is not just about family and friends and love and warm fuzzies, but also about the first gift of Christmas ... the gift of God. The Bible says the gift of God is eternal life. The gift of God is salvation. The gift of God is the Holy Ghost. It is a wonderful season! That gift is Jesus!
God bless you all richly...keep Him in your songs and in your lives!
