The Lord truly blesses by linda_kelson on February 15th, 2009, 7:26 pm
The Lord does truly bless. I had a very hectic week this past week with working an practicing at church on Tuesday and then organizing everything for our church Valentines banquet. Finally it's over and the Lords hand was in every aspect of the worship team and the banquet. People giving their testimony about their spouses of how much they love them and how God brought them together. The fellowship with old friends and now many new that attended. I'm still on a high with how awesome God is and how he made this Sunday flow for his honor and glory. "What a blessing" I am so blessed to know our Lord as my personal savior. I would be so lost not having Him in my life. Its heart wrenching knowing how many people reject the one who blesses, forgives and loves so freely.
A new song that I will be writing will be called "COUNTING SHEEP" God's sheep!
Be blessed all that read this blog, and remember JESUS LOVES YOU WITH A LOVE THAT PASSES ALL UNDERSTANDING!!!

Valentines for me 2009 by iwantamcJESUScombo on February 15th, 2009, 6:59 pm
Just another day, just another date.
Just ordinary; nothing to love or hate.
No roses, no romantic card.
Nothing to hold on to; no scars.
Roses soon die, and "lovers"lie.
I guess I only miss..
CHOCOLATES!!!!

How great the site is by Elaine Brewer on February 13th, 2009, 7:38 pm
Hi, I'm new at blogging so if I make a mistake, I'm sorry. There is so much pain and worry in to days world, I try to pray for all. I write lyrics and do not play an instrument, I wish I could. However I do hear the melody in my head so that helps. It seem that, our world is crying out for help, But no one is listing. I only wish that we could hear the tears, That is one of my songs, not quite done with it yet. James this is a great site God Bless Elaine from Mo. :D

Busy and Blessed by angela dittmar on February 7th, 2009, 10:49 pm
This is really a praise report, I give all the praise to my King and Lord Jesus for all that He has allowed, for all these opportunities - I guess that is what is happening.......I have been having lots of opportunities to share the music i have been allowed to pen, and it has been a blessing.

This weekend I was invited to 2 coffeehouses, one on Fri night and one tonight - ( I just got home) and it was a blessing! I shared some and included 2 new songs "Up Up Up" and "It Was You" and they were very well received. So thanks to all who helped me with the fine tuning on the forums! And some other open doors, some churches and nursing homes..............

I will be doing another speaking circuit in March for Stonecroft Ministries ( a week long adventure - 7 days / 4-5 towns) in Massachusetts & New Hampshire, and then at the end of March is the Cruise: http://www.hightowercruises.com/ ...

Seeing Scarlet by mlshiira on February 7th, 2009, 1:36 am
My son (5 yrs old) who has been sick the past couple of days was diagnosed today with scarlet fever. Funny how the name sounds far scarier that what it really boils down to–-strep throat with a rash. Apparently particular strains of strep produce a toxin that causes an allergic reaction, ie. rash, all over the body. And, yes, the rash can itch. Good news is you get rid of the strep, you get rid of the rash too. So the boy is on a good dosage of antibiotics and should be fine within a week. Well, minus the full body skin-peeling that will inevitably follow the healing of the rash. Bad news is it’s rather contagious, so we all (including the grandma who’s been watching him the past couple of days) have to be on the lookout for symptoms until he is better. Extra hand washing and all that. Had to call the school and report it, in case any of his classmates come down with symptoms; felt like a terrible mom for having to do so, though he probably caught it from some other classmate there...
